Vatican Museums
The Vatican Museums and the stunning Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo are a must-see when visiting Rome. There are many options available to you to discover these magical places, day and night. Make your visit in the best possible conditions, avoiding the long queues at the entrance but above all by choosing the formula that suits you best! You will be accompanied by one of our professional guides who will lead you through the maze of the Vatican with passion.
The archaeological museums, the gallery of maps, Raphael’s rooms, the Borgia apartments never tire the visitor and, icing on the cake, the Sistine Chapel and all the genius of Michelangelo and the painters of the Renaissance.
– Opening days and times: Monday to Saturday 8:30 am to 6:30 pm (closed on Sunday)
– Nocturnes: Fridays only, from April to October from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
1. Simple entrance and skip-the-line tickets:
- Adult price: € 35,00 per person

2. Simple entrance and skip-the-line tickets with audio guide:
- Ticket and audioguide Adult: € 45,00 per person
- Ticket and audioguide 6-12 years: € 33,00 per person
Price includes skip-the-line tickets, and reservation fees, valid during regular museum opening hours: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. (last entry at 4 p.m.)
* Children from 6 to 18 years old and students up to 25 years old (on presentation of valid proof at the entrance to the museums)
3. Guided group tours
a. Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica
The visit includes the Pio Clementino Museum, the galleries of the candelabra, maps and tapestries, then the Raphael Rooms, the Sistine Chapel, and finally Saint Peter’s Basilica with skip-the-line access!
At the end of the guided tour, it will not be possible to return to the Vatican Museums from the Basilica with the same ticket.
Duration: about 3 hours

- Reduced Price *: € 40,00 per person
Price includes skip-the-line tickets, booking fees, headphones, 3-hour group visit (with other people) and express passage to Saint Peter’s Basilica with a guide in the language of your choice, subject to reservation availability.
b. Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel
The visit includes the Pio Clementino Museum, the galleries of the candelabra and the geographical maps, the tapestries then the Raphael rooms, and finally the Sistine Chapel.

Price includes skip-the-line tickets, booking fees, headphones, 2-hour group tour (with other people) with a guide in the language of your choice, subject to availability.

4. Private guided tours
a. Private guided tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica
The visit includes a visit to the Pio-Clementino Museum or to the Gregorian Egyptian Museum, to the Candelabra Gallery. Then that of the Tapestries and Geographical Maps, at Raphael’s Rooms, at the Borgia Apartment but also at the Sistine Chapel!
Depending on the time and context of the visit, the guide may adapt the circuit and the order of the visits, in particular, to avoid the crowds and access the Sistine Chapel in the best conditions.
After visiting the museums, it will be possible to take a staircase reserved for guides to enter St Peter’s Basilica and thus skip the line!

b. Exclusive morning tours of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica with breakfast
Before walking the tours of the great Vatican Museums, recharge your batteries with a pleasant breakfast. Your choice: from 8:15 am or 7:15 am for the early risers, you will enjoy a generous international buffet. Either seated at your table in the Bistrot la Pigna, or in the Museums’ vast dining area, depending on the weather of the day. The morning will continue with a visit to the Pio-Clementino Museum or the Gregorian Egyptian Museum to the Candelabra Gallery. Then the Tapestries and Geographical Maps, at Raphael’s Rooms but also at the Borgia Apartment and finally at the Sistine Chapel, in the company of your private guide.
By choosing this option, you have the possibility to start the visit with the Sistine Chapel, and thus discover it before the usual opening to the public (9:00 am) in peace and without the daily crowds!

c. Night visits to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel
Only on Fridays, from April to October.
Access the Pontifical Museums in an exceptional setting as soon as night falls (from 7 p.m., closing at 11 p.m.) and (re) discover the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel in a magical and mysterious atmosphere. In this unique nocturnal atmosphere, you will access with your private guide the Gregorian Egyptian Museum or the Pio-Clementino Museum up to the Candelabra Gallery. Then that of the Tapestries and Geographical Maps, to Raphael’s Rooms but also to the Borgia Apartment and finally to the Sistine Chapel! To enhance this memorable visit, you can enjoy the concerts organized for the occasion with the same ticket (according to the calendar of the current festival). NB: the seats for the concert are not numbered, they cannot be reserved in advance.
As an option, enjoy an aperitif buffet in the Cour de la Pigna before starting the night tour of the papal museums!

4. Exclusive VIP tours of the “Hidden Museums” for groups
This unique visit gives exceptional access to 2 spaces closed to the public: La Chapelle Nicoline and the Escalier del Bramante. The tour is provided by an educational operator licensed by the Vatican City State. The itinerary of the visit will introduce you to the Pio-Clementino Museum, the Bramante Staircase, the Gallery of Candelabras, Tapestries, and Geographical Maps. But also the Raphael Rooms, the Nicoline Chapel, and finally the Sistine Chapel.
Important: The route and access to the normally closed section may undergo changes or be canceled due to events organized by the Holy See. (or Vatican City State)

– The number of participants per visit is 20 people maximum, for larger groups, please contact us for a tailor-made quote.
– From 10 participants, visitors are invited to follow the guided tour with headphones to limit the sound impact within the Museums. Headphone supplement: € 4,00 per person.
– The private guides carry out the visits in French, English, Italian but also other languages on request. The minimum duration is 3 hours but the guide can also make longer visits on request and with supplement.
– Ticket reservations depend on availability at the dates and times requested and give “skip-the-line” access directly to security checks.
– If Saint Peter’s Basilica cannot be visited due to force majeure or institutional events, the guided tour will take place (always for a period of 3 hours) in the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. The reservation will not be refundable.
