Visit Rome by Vespa
Discover Rome on a Vespa, the Italian Scooter, this means of transport typical of the Eternal City allow you to squeeze through the narrow streets! So you can explore the city more quickly and over longer distances, while avoiding the traffic. Or go on an adventure in the Castelli Romani that surround Rome!
You can hire these 2-wheelers or follow a tour with a driver-guide or “self-drive” in convoy. However, a good level of 2-wheel driving is required to drive the vehicles yourself.
Here are our different tours available, depending on your preferences and budget:
1- Tour with guide – Grand Tour of Rome
– Departure: group tours with English-speaking guide at 10:00 am – 2:30 pm – 7:00 pm.
– Duration: 3h
– Meeting point: Termini Station or personalised pick-up at your hotel/restaurant if central.
– Languages: Guides available in French, Italian, English and Spanish.
– Children: Children are accepted as long as they can reach the footboard of the Vespa. They are the responsibility of their parents and pay the full fare.
– Route:The itinerary includes Rome’s main attractions as well as less touristy sites. The Colosseum / Celio Hill and the Temple of Claudius / Trevi Fountain / Pantheon / Piazza Navona / St Peter’s / Castel Sant’Angelo / The Aventine and the Square of the Knights of Malta / The Orange Garden / The Appia Antica / The Imperial Walls / The Roman and Imperial Forums / Circus Maximus / Trastevere / The Baths of Caracalla / The Testaccio district / The Janiculum hill and its panoramic view / Piazza Venezia then back to the starting point.
- Price: € 180.00 per person
Price includes: Vespa with driver, helmet and hygienic bonnet, insurance, coffee/ice cream stop, guide in chosen language, pick-up and drop-off at hotel/restaurant or other venue in the centre.

Private tours available with choice of departure time, departure point and/or language.

2. Tour with audio guides
– Meeting point: Termini Station
– Languages: Audioguides available in English, French, Italian, Spanish, German.
– Children: Children are accepted as soon as they can reach the footboard of the Vespa. They are the responsibility of their parents and pay the full fare.

Option A – WITH DRIVER
Each customer is a passenger in a vehicle driven by a chauffeur. This option is suitable for those with little or no experience of driving a scooter, but who still want to enjoy a ride behind the wheel of a timeless Vespa.
Option B -AUTO-CONDUITY 1 person / Vespa
Each customer will drive a separate vehicle (1 customer, 1 vehicle) and carry no passengers.
This option is suitable for clients who already have the required driving experience, or even a 2-wheel licence (Driving a Vespa in Rome is totally inadvisable if you are a beginner or have only driven a few times).
Option C – SELF-CONDUCTION 2 people / Vespa
A couple of customers will share the same vehicle (2 customers, 1 vehicle). This option is suitable for couples who do not wish to travel separately. The driver is required to have the necessary motorbike driving skills, or even a 2-wheel driving licence.
It’s also possible to take a Vespa special cinema tour!
Large groups – Team building
For groups, however, it is possible to organise tailor-made tours with modern or vintage Vespa bikes. Or also motorised tricycles: the atypical Ape Calessino!
Reservation procedures:
To finalise the booking, we need the following information:
– Flight times and numbers, arrival terminal and drop-off location (your accommodation)
– Your chosen means of transport
– The preferred date and time for your transfer
– A valid telephone number in Rome (or valid on Whatsapp)
– A postal address so that we can issue your invoice
Terms and conditions of sale:
– Payment on booking by bank transfer or secure credit card payment system (Stripe).
– Payment, cancellation and refund details are specified on the invoice that will be sent to you by email.
– Reservations must be made by email or via the contact form at least 48 hours in advance from Monday to Friday (subject to availability).
Additional information:
– Please note that changes must imperatively be made at least 72 hours before the time of your activity (Monday to Friday) otherwise the change cannot be guaranteed.
– All prices include petrol, taxes and access to the Limited Traffic Zone.
– For journeys outside Rome or tailor-made, you can request a personalised quote by mail.
