Castel Gandolfo

Castel Gandolfo is known throughout the world as the summer residence of the Pope, but it is also a very pleasant village, to which Lake Albano brings a seaside dimension much appreciated by the Romans. The village has been voted one of the most beautiful in Italy.

This characteristic little town lies along Via Appia, on the slope of an ancient crater where Lake Nemi now extends.

Ariccia

Also on Via Appia, Ariccia is an artistic treasure of the Castelli Romani. For food lovers, this village is famous for its “fraschette” where you can taste the delicious porchetta d´Ariccia (roast suckling pig with herbs)!
